The Voluptuous Woman Company is the premier plus size organization that has served as an advocate for the plus size industry for 11 years.

For the past 10 years, we have produced several fashion shows featuring new plus size designers. In 2000, VWC sponsored the the first weekend empowerment conference for plus size women, entitled "Diamond in the Rough", featuring workshops on plus size modeling, health and fitness, and starting a business. The event featured a luncheon with keynote speaker GregAlan Williams (Actor/Author)

In 2003, we opened the Voluptuous Online Boutique featuring a unique assortment of suits, casual attire and accessories.

VWC accompanied the US Department of Commerce Office of Textiles and Apparel to London, England and Dusseldorf, Germany in March 2005 to participate in the Plus Size Trade Mission to meet with buyers of major department stores and small boutiques. The successful mission led to the creation of the Voluptuous Bath Wrap, a 100% Terry Velour spa wrap that fits plus size women up to a 50 inch bust.

In 2007, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary with a Fashion and Networking Show introducing our line of wool capes and shrugs.

October 2008, launched the first auction site dedicated to the plus size industry - Plus Size Clothing Auction.com . The Plus Size Clothing Auction website features standard auctions, dutch auctions, reserved auctions, fixed price sale and classified advertisement listings.
